Spreading awareness about Cyber Crimes

Innerve’20 launched its social campaign, Cyber SeekCure, on 25th September 2020. The campaign’s aim was to spread awareness about cyber crimes and the techniques with which netizens could secure their cyberspace. The Cyber Blog India was announced as the knowledge partner of our social campaign, CyberSeekCure. Innerve’20 expressed its heartfelt thanks to The Cyber Blog India for its support to this initiative to spread awareness about cyber security.

Innerve’20 as part of its social campaign reached out to people on the 28th of September on various social media platforms, inviting them to share their experience with cyber crime. These experiences were then shared with cyber security expert Raj Pagaria from Cyber Blog India, who discussed preventive measures against such crimes. The people who shared their story were given the option to stay anonymous and also to share these stories on our Instagram live session.

As we launched our social campaign, CyberSeekCure, we also released a video which presented our ideologies with regards to cybercrime in the guise of a satirical new channel report. The video contained some of the pressing problems arising due to cybercrime which we often tend to ignore.

We all wonder what to do when something like this happens to us. Innerve'20, in its social campaign Cyber SeekCure, conducted an interactive session on Insta live with the cyber security experts from the Cyber Blog India. People shared their experiences to try to find a solution to the problems they were facing online. The session was conducted on 29 September at 6 PM to enable people to learn from others' cyber crime cases.

Innerve presented a Cyber SeekCure Suspense series following Priya's story as she faced a cyber crime. A single video shattered her. She decided to try to take her own life. Will she be able to put herself back together again?Find out about how cyber crime ruined an innocent life. This time it was her. Next time? You never know. This story was based on a real case study provided by The Cyber Blog India.

Online Safety Event - Responsible Online Behaviour

The online world has both keyboard warriors and cyber trolls but it lacks responsible netizens. What we post online speaks volumes about who we really are. Innerve'20 in association with Cyber Peace Foundation conducted a webinar on Online Safety – Responsible Online Behaviour. The distinguished speaker was Janice Verghese, Cyber Lawyer, Cyber Security Specialist, Manager Communications and Training at Cyber Peace Foundation. The webinar was conducted on 1st October 2020 at 11:00 am. All attendees were given e-certificates.

Cyber Security Awareness Program
Event Conducted for School students

Under our social campaign, Cyber SeekCure, Innerve'20 organised a session on cyber security in various schools. The objective was to make students more aware about cyber crimes. Our speaker Janice Verghese, Cyber Lawyer, Cyber Security Specialist, Manager Communications and Training at Cyber Peace Foundation, sensitised the students about the threats online, talking about how they can safeguard themselves and their families online. We concluded on the note that cybersecurity is essential for one and all. The webinar was conducted on 8th October 2020 at 11:00 am. All attendees were given e-certificates.

Innerve presented the last episode of Innerve's Cyber SeekCure Suspense series. The episode showcased another story of a girl who found herself being tormented online. In the same, Priya's classmate Kriti found herself trapped in a dangerous web spun for her by her ex-boyfriend and How did she escape?
